Coach Tom was born and raised in Holyoke, Massachusetts-the birthplace of volleyball and home to the Volleyball Hall of Fame. Growing up in a town so deeply rooted in the sport, Tom was immersed in volleyball from an early age, learning the fundamentals in elementary school and advancing his knowledge throughout high school.

Volleyball has always been a family affair for Coach Tom. His wife, Manda, played competitively from middle school through high school and was offered collegiate opportunities. Today, their daughters continue the legacy by playing at the AAU Club and High School levels, bringing Tom's passion for the sport full circle.

As the heart of Velocity 321, Coach Tom is known for his caring nature, dedication, and sincere love of the game. He brings energy, clarity, and compassion to every practice and match-whether he's guiding drills, delivering a pep talk, or supporting players from the sidelines

Tom's coaching philosophy is rooted in inclusion, growth, and respect. He focuses on teaching both the fundamentals and tactical aspects of the game while making sure no player is left behind. Believing that every athlete brings unique strengths, he works to unify those individual talents into a team grounded in trust, love, and equality."
